WHY ANOTHER SUMMER ADVENTURE?

In the fall, Ann and I decided we would like to travel out west once again and work for the summer.  We didn't want to go as far as Wyoming, but the Rocky Mountains in Colorado was intriguing.  We applied for several workamper jobs in the Centennial state and finally decided on Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur, Colorado.  Larkspur is halfway between Colorado Springs and Denver.  Close to civilization but still in the mountains.

We had heard a lot about the family friendly atmosphere at Jellystone campgrounds and wanted to experience this type of environment for the summer.  Did you know that Yogi helps raise the American flag every morning at 9am sharp?

We are looking forward to our adventures in the southern Rocky Mountains where we will be living and working at 6,500 ft. elevation.  Colorado here we come!
